b.
Three lectures with case handling.
To prepare for these
lectures the students are divided into groups. Each group receives a mark for
its
case solutions. All groups hand in a solution
for
all cases. Assigned groups are
asked to present their
solution. After the presentation a discussion will take place.
At the beginning
of the course the class is divided into groups. These groups
consist preferably out of three or four people. Each group produces six
assigments. These
three assignments deal with answers on the questions posed in cases and the
articles.
On every Friday
two or three groups will present their
solution.
The presentation schedule is given two
days after the first lecture.
50% of the final
mark consists out of the average of the three marks given for group
work. The other 50% is the final mark is the mark for the closed book
examination at the
end of the course. (this last part can be done also though handig in solutions
at the appropiate
days for the nine cases given in the lecture notes.)
